Tunkhannock Area School District is the larger of two districts located in Wyoming County Pennsylvania. The districts facilities and sprawling campus are home to richly diverse student opportunities, both academic and extra-curricular.
The district enrolls approximately 2,100 students. Most attend full- time, in per-son classes in our Primary Center (K-2), Intermediate Center (3-6), STEM Academy (7) and High School(8-12). Approximately 100 students are enrolled in the district’s cyber program, Fusion C3. Fusion C3 provides students the opportunity to take all or some of their courses remotely with the option to come into the buildings to take more specialized courses such as AP, Honors or Dual Enrollment courses, music or art electives, advanced language courses, or any number of hands-on electives in our Career and Technology programs. Robust extracurricular opportunities abound for all students. The district is home to fifty-five athletic teams from varsity to junior high, a one hundred and forty member marching band, nationally competitive FBLA and robotics clubs, and so much more!
The Board of Directors seeks a highly motivated leader with excellent people skills , a desire to listen and the ability to make decisions. We seek candidates who will promote a positive image of the district, who will inspire trust, demonstrate integrity, and model high standards both academically and professionally. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of fiscal management of district resources, and experience working with collective bargaining units. Candidates must embrace a “student-first” philosophy, and be equipped to lead a large organization dedicated to the goals of continuous improvement, innovation and student achievement. Salary range: $135,000 to $150,000 with an excellent benefit package.

The Tunkhannock Area School District is currently accepting applications for daily substitute Custodians, Cafeteria Workers, Individual Student Aides, Maintenance Workers, RN & LPN Medical Aides, Secretarial and Clerical Workers.
